Killruddery Festival

Killruddery Festival is still in its prime with massive success in 2010, our first year, which featured world renowned and critically acclaimed legendary artists such as Jose Carreras, Michael Ball, Celine Byrne and Dublin Gospel Choir. Now an annual musical event presenting an eclectic selection of artists across all music genres occurring in August each year, we plan to enhance our customers experience with features and artists to last the test of time.

Killruddery Festival is held in the 17th century garden of Killruddery House at the foot of The Sugar Loaf Mountain in north county Wicklow. Home to the Earls of Meath since 1618, Killruddery House is one of the most successful Elizabethan-Revival mansions in Ireland. Killruddery is unique in having the most extensive early formal gardens, still in their original style, surviving in Ireland.

The concerts in Killruddery will take place in the intimate and ambient open air gardens of the house which have a natural gradient and split level design lending to the intimacy of each event. Visitors to Killruddery Festival can enjoy picnics, which are purchased on site, in the stunning gardens and explore the grounds in all their glory.

This year the events take place from the 19th of August 2011 with performances by Il Divo with the Killruddery Festival Orchestra being the first to be announced. Tickets for Killruddery Festival are available through www.ticketgroup.ie and their outlet, Xtra-vision stores nationwide.
